For the Toronto Raptors, Masai Ujiri is About to Enter the Chat

A sneaky dangerous Eastern Conference pest turned head-scratcher, what can/will GM Masai Ujiri do near the deadline?

After a decade of observing a healthy win column, I have to admit, I’m not sure how to react to the 2022-23 version of the Toronto Raptors. I’m supportive of course, but at 13-18, this feels… just weird. They were never considered a true “contender,” by pundits, but certainly a playoff team. And a potentially dangerous one at that.

But this season has been disappointment. It’s not only the rapid source of losses piling up, but it’s the way in which they’re dropping them.
